Halloween 2009!

We had a great Halloween! Daddy was home and we were all dressed in theme. Cooper was a fireman, Allie was a dalmatian dog, and Mom and Daddy were the fire. Thanks to Auntie Heidi our homemade costumes were comfortable and so cute!

Playing the piano at Grandma and Papa's house!

Cooper's 1st place pumpkin!

The Bible . . .

You never know who's watching you and I am learning that my kids are always watching.

Sometimes there are parts of my life that I wish weren't so apprent to inquistive eyes.

However the other day my favorite bible was on the couch and I heard the
delicate thin pages turning and I thought,
"oh no, I hope I can get my bible out of those little hands before the pages get torn!"

Once I saw this sight I was first humbled,
then thankful and then I grabbed my camera.

Extra Time on Sunday Morning?!!!?!!!?

Yeah, I know what you're thinking . . . Extra time on a Sunday morning before church?
What? I couldn't believe it either we were all fed, dressed, happy
and smudge free by 8:20am.
So why not follow the kids around with the camera
and try to get a few pic's.

I just love this one!
My only fault, I didn't get a snapshot of myself with these
cute smudge-free kids - darn I was looking cute that morning too!

Auntie Heidi is always up to some type of crafty present for us!
These cute tie-dyed shirts were her latest whim.

Yeah, Allie is smiling! How'd we get her to smile?
Cooper was tossing grass clippings on her head
and she thought it was hillarious.
I'll have to remember the grass clippings
for my next visit to Sears (ha ha).

A day on the bayou . . .

A ten minute ride from our house takes us to Bayou Lacombe.
Lee's favorite place to be is right here.

The Tammany Trace bicycle bridge.
Madoo-sa and Cooper

Allie can't get enough peering
over the boat into the water.

I love boating too!
