Paradise Point Vacation!

Paradise Point, San Diego

The view out our room door.

Mission Bay where Uncle Adam took us sailing!
Exploring the huge fish ponds...

The uncles doing magic tricks !

Cousin Dana, too pretty!

Waking up on Louisiana time and going to sleep on California time is exhausting!

SeaWorld was a fun day too!
Cooper loved all the flowers!

Allie loved all the ducks and ponds just steps away from our room.

The best part of our vacation was spending time with our precious California family!

Thanks for the great times

Curt, Mom, and Alex;

Uncle Adam, Auntie Bren, Conner and Dana;

Uncle Josh, Auntie Wen, Tobey and Reagan

We Miss You Already!

Uncle Adam made a great video of our trip. Check it out!

Budget Cuts!

Hi Friends and Family,
A few weeks ago we had our digital camera and our cell phones stolen out of our car. So therefore, I have not been blogging due to no camera and no pictures. We had some extra dough in our budget to replace the cell phones but have to save up a bit for the camera. I'll get back with ya'll soon!

"Mom Moments"

Just about everyday something happens that makes me thank God that I am a mom. I wanted to share a few of my 'mom moments' that make me delight in the journey.

"Mom Moments"

Accepting a ketchup kiss from Cooper.

Cooper put his arms around me yawned. So I asked him, "Are you a little tired?"
He said, "No, I'm a BIG tired"

Allie squeels with delight when we go to Walmart and stop to look at the fish in the tanks.

It is amazing how dad's ears are deaf to crying at "wee" hours of the night. Now I am territorial about fixing things at the "wee" hours.

When I hear little voices singing or talking to themselves very contently in their bed in the morning, I just smile.

Every night when I pray with Cooper the one thing he always says is -
"Thank you God for church" (I just love that!)

When my house is a mess I love to remind myself that the trip to the park or the zoo was really more important than the floors.

"Mom, Allie's a mess!" is something else I hear a lot too!

I love that motorcycles, tracktors, and big fire trucks make a 2yr. olds day so exciting.

It is such a treat that Lee gets up with the kids in the mornings.

I love to hear Cooper say, "Good talking, Allie!"

Putting dresses on a little girl is something I truely cherish.

I never knew a 2 yr. old could have such foul B.O. (body odor) when just 12 hours before he smelled like lavender body wash.

How sweet is it that Allie's favorite toy is the bunny who says the prayer,
"Now I lay me down to sleep..."

I groan and then laugh perplexed at how I manage to wash a disposable diaper in the washing machine and the dryer about once a month.

Finally, I get to potty train my own kid!!! (after years of potty training autistic kids)
Yeah - I'm weird to be thrilled about potty training.

When I meet someone who doen't know Lee and they comment,
"Your kids look just like you"!

Thank You God for giving me the opportunity to be Copper and Allie's mom.

Pretty in Pink . . .

I just realized that the last post did not contain one picture of our priceless, Allie-girl. (She slept during the entire Easter Celebration). So here are a few more Easter pictures with her.

Grams and Curt Come Visit

3 out of 4 smiles is the best we could do!
My mom, (Grams) and her new husband, Curt came for a visit, to see the sights in New Orleans and to celebrate my birthday (yikes 33!).

A little help eating Kix.

Coop and Grams dancing at the Bayou Jam

Hang'n Out!

Oh to be 25 again and that cute!

Cooper's favorite animal. Maybe because it is so big.
