We have a fund raising dinner in San Antonio on Friday. We are, of course, praying that it will be successful and we will raise some more money.

Also, Gustav is looking ominous. Our plan in to be gone Thurs - Mon. We may be leaving early tomorrow morning as though we are evacuating. I know Lee is out there on a rig, too... Lots to pray for here!

Ike looks like a monster ready to pounce on Texas. I just have this pit in my stomach for all of those people, churches, homes and businesses in it's way. However I've got to remember the positive sides of a storm - people come together, people see God, God is so visible, and we God's people are able to be used by him.

Thank You God Allie is finally walking and talking. Thank you God for giving me a new perspective - how parents who have special needs kids feel when milestones are not met.
