Moving Out ... Then Vacation in Avila Beach!

A quick update as to how we came to moving to Texas ...
we needed a change of pace, a new little adventure.
Many friends have moved to the Katy area and we took
a leap of faith and put our house up for sale in a sluggish market.
We told ourselves that  we'd give it a try for 6 months and God would
make it happen if it was the right "move".  10 days later we had a contract
from the 1st people who saw it, and we closed on the house 21 days later.
When the Man moves he really MOVES!

The kids loved the empty moving truck, I loved it
that our wonderful friend Joey helped Lee load it while his
wife, Jen and daughter, Faith and my kids went to the pool
in order to be out of the way (how does one get so lucky)!

Then a 6 or so hour drive to Katy. Then unloading the next day,
and a wonderful dinner with friends before we drove back to New Orleans the next day
to catch our flight to CA for a family reunion at Avila Beach!

Cold Cold Cold Pacific Ocean water! Obviously they did not think so ...

My sweet sisters!

Cooper in the grape vines . . .

Digging for sand crabs with cousin Quinn

I loved Avila beach as a girl and Lee visited Avila beach as a
teen every summer too, now our kids love it too!

Some 3yr old fun, Cooper and Reagan doing puzzles

Pony rides through the apple orchards!

Uncle Shaw capturing cousins Tobey and Reagan

Playing in the apple orchard with Auntie Heidi and Uncle Shaw (Allie can't get enough of them)!

Goodbye California ... Time to start our new adventure as Texan's!

Thank you for sharing your moving story! I've actually been meaning to ask about how all of it came about...and then there it was for the world to see. God's pretty amazing, isn't he? I can't wait to see what he's got in store for you guys!
